I Will Avenge You! And I actually said it out loud!
Skills make sounds, yes. But, how about we can choose from a range of voices (if we're a warrior) and actually hear shouts? And it could be toggleable to hear on and off by party members and enemies. Just a thought.
Maybe also it could be toggleable to make your character make sounds when fighting?
i.e. Rah
Argh
Haha
Cha
Eea
Oof
Uh
Heeya
etc.

err...well...I think it would just be useless choosing your character voice. I mean how often are you gonna here it anyway.

With warriors they hear their shouts so that's quite often, and if the characters made noises then that would be quite often too. Or well maybe you shouldn't choos, maybe it should be the default voice you hear on the cutscenes.

/SiGnEd definitely.
I was thinking about actual voices a day or two ago.
Towns are silent except for the ingame/ambient sounds. You'd think that the towns would be bustling with noise.
I want to hear laughter, whining, stomping of feet as people jump, cheers etc etc.
How hard would it be to do? NOT VERY HARD AT ALL!
C'mon ArenaNet! You guys like learning Korean...just like your videos we saw so language barriers are no excuse this time.
Lets add some voices and let us choose what voice we want to apply to our characters.
Evennia sounds so hot... i want her voice on my female characters!!!11
Rurik is a toolbar but i would like my ranger to squeek some of Ruriks quotes.
"Take that you foul beast!" "For Ascalon!"
How cool would it be for some bulky warrior to walk up to you and scream in Adelberns voice "I banish you from Ascalon!"? lol

Lol this thread reminded me of voice binds in fps games. I can just see it now.
"Defend our Rurik"
"You call yourself a warrior?" "Negative"
"The mesmer needs healing badly!"
"Not enough energy"
(Concussion lands and a detached announcer voice declares)
"Headshot!"
"I have the relic, heading back to our altar"
(Right before power block is used)
"I would not do such things if i were you" (orc voice)
Could keep going with altered lines "borrowed" from other games, but i think im done for now.
